Simple and Secure Cloud Deployments with New CIS-Hardened Images from Commvault
Securing cloud environments is critical for today’s organizations, as improper configurations can lead to serious vulnerabilities. In response to these challenges, Commvault has announced that its Commvault Cloud Platform can be easily deployed on major cloud platforms using CIS-hardened images. These pre-configured images are compliant with the CIS guidelines and are available on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and VMware.
According to industry research, configuration errors are one of the most common causes of cloud vulnerabilities, accounting for 23 % of attacks on cloud infrastructure. Commvault’s CIS-hardened images are designed to reduce these risks by pre-configuring to strict security standards, giving IT and security teams confidence. Customers can use the new CIS-hardened images to quickly and confidently configure and deploy Commvault Cloud, with the following benefits:
